Most free Shopify themes are a demo of a paid one: the good parts are behind a wall. Flyer isn’t. It’s the base we build on, finished and audited like the rest — variant selection that works with JavaScript off, contrast that holds on every colour scheme, no app required for anything.
We’d rather you judge how we build with a real theme in your hands. If it suits you and you later want a design with more character, Revue and Archive are at the counter. If not, keep Flyer — it costs you nothing and it stays yours.
Is Flyer really free?
Yes. No trial, no upsell, no watermark. Give us an email address so we can tell you when a new theme lands, and the zip is yours.
Can I use it on a client store?
Yes, on as many stores as you like, yours or your clients’, including paid work. You can charge for your integration — you just can’t resell Flyer itself as a theme.
Which Shopify plan do I need?
Any plan, Basic and up. Flyer is an Online Store 2.0 theme and needs no Shopify Plus feature and no paid app.
What’s the catch compared to the paid themes?
None technically — Flyer is built to the same standard. Revue and Archive are opinionated designs with their own signature mechanics. Flyer is deliberately neutral: a clean base you can take anywhere.
How do I install it?
Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload zip file. It lands as a draft, so your live theme is untouched until you publish. The download includes a two-minute guide.
Do I get support?
Flyer is free, so support is best-effort with no guaranteed response time. Write to the counter and we’ll help when we can.
